Author's Note
I greatly admire the character of Dan Yan Zhen Ren in "The Legend of Sword and Fairy"; however, as the story progresses to the second part, I am compelled to see him "eliminated" in a tragic turn of events. In A Niu's heart, there is an undeniable sense of regret. It seems that a good person like him truly should not meet such a tragic and desolate end. Yet at that time, the plot unfolds layer by layer, and the characters continuously clash, making the death of the old Daoist beyond my control
Therefore, after the conclusion of "The Legend of Sword and Fairy," I have always wanted to write a novel about the character Dan Yan. Whether it would recount his youth or narrate his experiences after reincarnation, I had little hesitation in choosing the latter. Thus, the origin of the book "The Illusory Mirror of Immortal Feathers" came into being.
At the same time, the book "Xianyu Huanjing" will introduce many new characters, such as Luo Yushan, Jiang Chuer, and Qu Cuifeng, along with those who have already appeared in "Xianjian Shenqu," like Nong Bingyi and Wei Jingzhe. This group of young individuals, dressed in fine clothes and riding spirited horses, is about to present a breathtaking new legend.

Counting back, "The Illusory Mirror of Immortal Feathers" is already my third work in the xianxia genre. It continues the storyline of my previous work "The Legend of the Sword and Fairy" sixteen years later, primarily narrating the growth experiences of a group of young people represented by Dan Wan (Little Egg)
Of course, there will also be major characters such as Ding Yuan, Sheng Nian, and Luo Niu from "Xianjian Shenchuan" making a grand return, shining alongside a new generation of stars from Tianlu, proudly standing in the realm of immortals
What could be more exhilarating and full of anticipation than this? For me, it is even more so
The situation of Xiao Dan is quite understandable; no one is aware that he is the reincarnation of the True Person Dan Yan, and they merely regard him as an insignificant little thug. However, this "little thug" possesses some unique qualities: he is simple and kind-hearted, somewhat clumsy yet easygoing, and he only wishes for the happiness of those around him, even if it means sacrificing his own comfort
In the book "The Immortal Feather Illusion Mirror," the reincarnated figure of Master Dan Yan becomes an orphan—Little Egg—who has followed his adoptive father wandering the world since childhood. However, this adoptive father is merely a second or third-rate character in the demonic path, resorting to all sorts of deceit and trickery, and even those within the same sect look down upon him.
